When I first started my author journey, I thought I had to do everything alone.

It was exhausting — and honestly, I missed the joy that comes from sharing the journey with others who truly understand it.

Then I had a conversation with another author.
In just 20 minutes, we swapped contacts, exchanged event ideas, and encouraged each other in a way that made me feel lighter and more confident.

That’s when I realized: we’re stronger, smarter, and more creative when we work together.

Meet Your Host – Angela M. Odom

Angela M. Odom is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, leadership coach, and multi-genre author passionate about helping others share their stories and strengthen their platforms. With over 27 years of military service — including leading troops in Iraq — she brings a unique blend of discipline, strategy, and heart to her work.

She is the author of multiple books, including the Landon Learns children’s series, Bronco Strong: A Memoir of the Last Deployed Personnel Services Battalion, and contributor to the award-winning anthology Camouflaged Sisters. Angela is also the visionary behind “Lunch with 250 Deltas,” a signature event that unites and inspires women through connection and collaboration.

Through the Open Author Discussion – Collaboration & Growth Possibilities, Angela’s intent is to create a welcoming space for authors and aspiring authors to connect, explore opportunities, and grow together.
