Family relationships mean everything! My mother, Hattie Mae Odom Jones was one of 14 children of my maternal grandparents, Sam and Gertrude (Palmer) Holifield. My father, Walthall Odom was one of 11 children born to my maternal grandmother, Hattie (Dixon) Odom. Her two husbands preceded her in death, Frank Buckley and Robert Odom.

When my siblings and I lost our matriarch in June 2011, we lost more than our mother and biggest supporter, we lost a person who connected us to our cousins and other family members who reside all over the world.

I can only assume you feel as deeply as I do about documenting our family tree and maintaining a close family relations.

Together we will update our respective branches of our Family Tree. I envision an online location where we are able to view our family tree and at some point in the future we produce an eBook and a soft cover book that details our family tree.
